July has made its appearance, the temperature has risen for good, people keep on bathing in the sea, while for many this will be a holiday month. Our plans include endless diving in the sea and games or relaxation under the hot summer sun.
The longing to go to the beach and enjoy the sea and the sun is great; however, there is a great risk of getting our skin sunburned, if we are not careful!
Sunburns are the damages caused to skin tissues due to excessive exposure to ultraviolet radiation.
The mildest form of a sunburn is the appearance of redness on the skin, while a more severe form is the inducement of edema and blisters.
How easily someone can get sunburned, depends on a variety of factors:
You have been seduced by the magic of summer, you sat all day at the beach, you forgot to renew your sunscreen and in the end you got “burned”. Do not worry!
Follow these steps and be sure to offer your skin the proper care it needs.
With systematic use of these products and a bit of patience, you will deal with sunburns as quickly as possible. But, next time you decide to go to the beach, avoid the extreme sun exposure, especially at noon, when solar radiation is more intense. And, of course, a sunscreen with high SPF (sun protection factor) is absolutely essential. After all, prevention is the best cure. Right?
